Karma is the term best described by present tense. You need not think of past every time. Just do Karma and leave rest to destiny. You can't change past, but present can build future.

If you believe in Karma then you should already know that , just the fact you are present in a body is due to the affect of past Karma. The key is to pass all test so as not to further continue in the :working out" of the Karma's.

It's complicated. I think in simple terms: if you do good works then you attract good. If you do harmful deeds then you attract harm. That being said, from a Buddhist perspective you accumulate bad and good karma over several lifetimes. Something karma related may be returning to you after 3 lifetimes and not just from this life. The state of your mind and the actions you are performing now tell you what your last life was like and what your next life will be like. But if you want to keep it simple then that OK too. Namaste!

The soul is eternal, hence, earlier this incarnation and after this incarnation. confident, the soul could have taken this type of a existence, subsequently, a prior existence is amazingly achievable. No, karma does not stick to you, solid or undesirable. one element karma fails to handle is the fact that the 2d you alter your ideals/suggestions you alter your existence. i've got faith interior the time-honored thought of karma, in that your present state in which you reside is an instantaneous manifestation of your previous ideals, movements and suggestions, yet exchange your questioning and your destiny will mirror that. Karma additionally conveys a "settlement" with something/somebody: God/The Universe... So in case you think in karma, you probable have faith interior the comparable thought of the gated community "someplace obtainable" reported as heaven or the "stay eternity in hearth"...hell.

No. I believe in Karma, but I believe that it comes back to you in this lifetime, and I also believe that we get one shot at life. If we screw up, it's all on us. No second chances. But that's just my opinion.

Some "vehicles" of Buddhism don't believe in past lives, but most of the more well-known ones believe in rebirth and since it makes perfect logical sense to me, I believe in rebirth. Too much evidence in it, that I've encountered to believe that past lives exist.
