I know I'm a bit too old for this. I'm 19. My Sister is 22! I cannot afford for a lock (they cost atleast £70 to be fitted).

I'm currently looking for a job, which I begrudge because I know when I come back something will be taken.

I'm 19 and I feel really immature for writing this, but I'm getting really angry. I was meant to go to my boyfriend's tonight but I have to stay at home because I cannot afford to replace things right now.

sorry just to clear things a bit.

She lives with me. Me and my Mum have spoken to her but she just says stuff like, "She takes me things". (Which I don't by the way, she always reverses things when she's in the wrong).

This is pretty immature, but I would start taking her things.

You can also buy door knob locks for your door. Just replace the door knob with a locking door knob that requires a key... They are about $15.00 to $40.00 CAD. You're good to go.

OK so buy a footlocker and put your most precious things in it and put a padlock on it.

Same with your closets. A hasp and padlock don't cost that much. They don't look good - but who cares - That way you 'll at least have proof that she pried off your hasps etc. to get to your things.

And while you're at it - go over to your sister's and retrieve your belongings.

And BTW - if you live at home, shouldn't you explain things to your parents?

i would ask her why she is doing it. if its to get ur attention, set aside time to do things with her. if she needs things and she cant get them herself, let her borrow or help her get these things. if shes just doing it to be mean, dont let her come over anymore. tell her to get a job and stay out of ur stuff. goodluck.
