my friend argued with me that peurto ricans speak portuegese.. cause his girlfriend hollered that at him and he was trying to translate it from portuegese

It's indeed Spanish and it can mean 2 things:
1). Men gossip more than women
or
2). Men are nosier than women.
No, they don't speak Portuguese(at least as
a main language) in Puerto Rico!
Only country in the Americas where Portuguese
is the main language is Brazil.

It's Spanish - they don't speak Portuguese in Puerto Rico.
