primoa1970- thats the weird part! I haven't listened to metal for a long time now! Particularly, i have nothing against lighter stuff like DIO, but i aviod it anyway...

Krugger- I'm not losing metal, i still listen to it. Just not as often i used to. My favorite band still is Savatage.
About acohol, i used to think like you do. Today, not only i dont miss it, i'm glad i dont drink anymore. Again, personaly i'd have nothing against a cold, cold beer once in while. But what used to seem so good and fulfilling in the past now just seem... well... unecessary.
If those things are the only ones stoping you from having a relation with God through Jesus Christ, than i can say, by my own experience, that there is nothing standing in your way. =D

omg omg omg omg killswitch engage's version of that is AMAZING!!!, i saw them play it at download festival this year and i was astounded!
just listen to a few other songs that you like better and it will probably disapear!
you see the main things that would keep me from getting baptised is the loss of metal and alcohol, nnnnooooooooooooo, i feel sorry for you for the loss of real music!
