Ouch. Sorry to hear that. I'm not condoning her having an online relationship behind her partners back, wondering though if maybe she had intentions of leaving partner but was unable to for some reason. Atleast she didn't go as far as actually meet and start something more while she was still with partner. Maybe she was waiting because she wanted more than a fling and wanted to do the right thing by leaving her partner first? Just saying maybe her intention wasn't to dupe you. Don't feel foolish or bad, sounds like a situation that just didn't work out.

Added: Well I was hoping for a better scenario for you. Chin up, not everyone out here gets their kicks from mesing with other peoples heads. Just be more cautious in the future. Best of luck to you.

FACE IT-- you really DIDN'T know her! You CAN'T unconditionally trust people you don't know. When you meet someone on the net, you only really know what they want to tell you. And they don't always tell you everything. That's one of the problems with Internet relationships. You might think you are talking to a 21 year old female when in fact you are talking to a 45 year old man! Or someone who says they are unattached, very well may NOT be!

Honey, I know you feel, same thing happened to me, met someone online, and we went out for five months then he started acting weird, wasn't availabe on the weekends, or would say that he was spending time with his family. I honestly don't know why people like to lead people on like that. But keep your head up, and shake it off, thats what I did, and now i'm seeing someone else, that I also met on the internet, but so far so good. Just be careful there are those crazies out there that like to play with people.

i have been more times than i care to count over my time online.i have learned that they tell you what you want to hear to hook you then after a long period of time you find that your not the only one thats been hooked by him or her.i've seen couples come and go more than the ones that actually make it online or off.its sad that people use others feelings the way they do but it happens a lot.i hope i have learned by my little misfortunes online.

Sorry to hear this...She obviously is not happy with her current relationship. Don't worry! I'm sure you will find a wonderful woman that will make you happier than she ever could. Good luck and I'm sorry about this woman.

i do feel your pain dear,
and wish you get over it soonest and move on.
it is unfortunate about what happened to you,
i wouldn't place it on online dating cos it could happen to anyone both online and real/physical dating.
i wish you best of luck in you search and pray you find the "right someone"for yourself.
