Can spinal stenosis affects the brain??i know someone who has the spinal stenosis and she can anymore talk i wanna know if that is caused by the nerve compression???Plz any neurologist answer me plz!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I reallly need to know

When I ran a search on your question, brain function itself was not listed as one of the things effected by the condition.

However, it did mention that nerves could be squeezed or damaged- and those nerves control the muscles that move your mouth. So conceivably, it could hurt your power of speech.

There are surgeries available to fix this. And while I normally don't advocate back surgery, this is one time when it's a good idea. Tell your friend to check into it.
