Yes you can,my husband was diagnosed and is still being treated but he was sent back overseas and has been there for going on 11 months now he just continues to have to take his meds and do therapy sessions. It will also depend on how severe your PTSD is,if it is severe enough they can medically discharge you for it.

Not if you are receiving treatment. It would also be very unlikely that you would be deployed again to a war zone because of the liability to the branch of the military you are serving in. You will more than likely stay in the U.S. or other non-war zone areas to finish your tour.

By the way, be sure to address any and all concerns and problems with your doctor so that it can be documented. If you say nothing, then the doctor will assume you are okay and may discharge you from his/her care too soon.

I also want to thank you for keeping us safe here at home. God Bless and keep you in His care.

That is up to the doctor treating you. It is his job to determine your fitness for duty.

I hope not, but do talk to your Dr or counselor ASAP, and please continue on your meds. Blessings to you!
