How did being in a relationship with a younger woman make you feel?

For a very short time and I can't think of much that was enjoyable about it. It was litterally more work than any three other relationships I've ever had because she seemed to have no concept of what a relationship was. I would swear she worked harder to make herself unhappy than anything else.
She was a mass of chaos drama and insecurities. In spite of her being 21 it seemed to me she wanted a relationship more like highschool. And just when I was thinking it was just her I met her friends and they were all just like her.
With most relationships like this it wasn't truly the age difference that doomed it but rather the fact that we were at very different places in our lives. I felt like every moment I had to explain the world to her. The relationship annoyed me more than anything.

I find available women my age are often fat, bitchy, unhappy, complain a lot, etc. When I have found a good woman my age I have no issue dating her.
Younger women can have the same issues. I find I end up dating a younger woman only because because the age range of available women is greater to me as an older guy.
I don't really care how old the woman is. The question is how do we get along. Personality and compatibility is 80% of a successful relationship. I allow 20% for appearance (notice I didn't say beauty) because that shows just how much you respect yourself.

Such an interesting question you pose and I am more curious as to why you would ask rather than to reply. I so wish you are not in such a situation of discovering your loved one has eyes wandering elsewhere beyond you...
My life certainly has led me to be exposed to ladies of all ages and when love found me it brought me to a girl 16 years my younger. We were on a five year honeymoon when illness took her life away to passing a few years after... I was 35, single and virgin and she was 19 and a remained virgin when we married...
As guys will talk, I compared, and realized the love, devotion, compassion, dedication and, "most of all", sensuality, my friends shared with their equal age wives were far below that of my younger bride...
Her passing was several years ago and I have met many wonderful ladies since then and find the most contributing factor of real love is sensuality as it is the glue that bonds forever and never ages, the virtual fountain of youth...! This is true of any age, I assure you...
Unfortunately, I have yet to find a lady with having such "lasting" sensuality and so now choose to remain single rather than enter into a union of expected disappointments which is revealed thru so many married friends as well as the USA 51% divorce rate...
If you have reason to worry, Lea, then do something about it ...show your man there is no other girl that could compete with you in his favour. If you can't do that...well...let him go and get on with your life. The hurt will never end but you still can start over...!

I sure would like to be. The older ones simply lose interest. For example, they decide not to pursue relationships anymore. So the thing to enjoy about younger women is that they want a relationship. I assume I would feel great about her enthusiasm and energy, her sharpness of mind and memory, and her spirit about the relationship.

Yes, I've had relationships with 2. One was 21 to my 44, and current one is 28 to my 45. The 21 y/o was too immature, but the sex was great. 28 y/o GF is also bi and it makes for more fun with a FFM. Besides that, I have such a high sex drive that most woman my age simply cannot keep up. No, I don't use Viagra. Just pure sexual energy. I'm also not a muscular hunky guy, just plain ole MAN.

Made me feel younger and more alive, but also somewhat out-of-touch with what the younger set wants and how they act. The sex was enjoyable since she was limited on knowledge and I felt like a teacher and could show her things she had only maybe heard about. Somewhat of a feeling of innocence and naivity from her made me feel in charge of the affair.

It all depends on your definition of older men. As you get older, the age difference does not matter as much as when you are young. I'm 5 years older than my wife. I have friends who are 20 years older than their wives. Once you are emotionally mature, your chronological age does not make that much difference. If either of you are immature, best to wait or you may make decisions that do not turn out as you would have hoped.
