Im in middle school and i already put spanish down as my class but french seems pretty cool. Im not sure if i should switch. My sister took french in middle school but shes taking spanish in high school so i dont know which ones better.

My sister took Latin in high school cause that helps with the s.a.t but what comes in 2nd, helping wise.

SAT: French. All the tough SAT vocab is from French.
Life: depends what you want to do and where you want to live.

Spanish is easier and much more useful in terms of being spoken by many more people worldwide and also in the U.S. French has a certain cachet among educated people, though, so knowing it gives you a kind of prestige, and it is very useful when traveling in a few places, incl. France, though nowadays English is better known in France than in Spain or in much of Latin America.
