Any suggestions for getting rid of bronchitis? I've already done the z-pack and medrol dose pack from the dr - and I'm still wheezy and having coughing fits.

your lungs need to be exercised. Do deep breathing exercises several times a day. I've enclosed a link where you can learn about this. Also if you can have someone hit your back throughout the lung area, using the flat part of their hand this will stimulate the lungs, you will probably start coughing when this is done because it helps get the mucus out. Do this For several minutes, several times a day.

Start taking vitamin C. powder 1,000mg, three times daily.

That's the result of your body being use to having bronchitis, tho you probably don't have it anymore. Bronchitis is hard on your system. For most people, it comes back every so often.

Tea and Steam are your friends. Mainly you want to clear your throat and lungs, allow yourself to practice smooth breathing.

So, various Teas like Chammomiles with a little honey and lemon (not sugar or milk, those will gum things up). Also, warm bath, just breathe in the steam. Do this daily. In the meantime, take it easy, rest a lot. You're at a vulnerable stage and need to take care of yourself.

If after a week you don't feel better, best to go back to the doctor.

Good luck :)

the best home remedy i have for u is to take an aloe vera leaf and peel off it's skin, then wash it very well removing all of the goo and cut it in to chunks.

next, put the aloe vera chunks into the blender, add a bottle of 7 syrups (u'll find that in any spanish grocery store or supermarket) and add honey.

mix well in the blender, and drink 2 teaspoons of this mix about 3 times a day for about a week.

this concoction will bring up all the mucus in ur chest so be ready to be spitting up alot of it. trust me this remedy works. i have had bronchitis all of my life and when my mother and grandmother heard of this remedy they tried it and to my benefit it worked. good luck
