There are actually several options for spanish-speakers in Washington, DC. Some are well known, some less so.

The Organization of American States is located along Constitution Avenue in Washington, just west of the Elipse. They have a great art museum, the Art Museum of the Americas, which is very focused on latin american art, and spanish is the second language there.

The Spy museum, alas is not non-english speaker friendly that I can tell (nothing on their web site). The smithsonian, on the other hand, has at the very least a brochure and web page in Spanish which can help your aunt through. Since there are many (16 or so) Smithsonian museums, I recommend that you consider them. The Renwick is supposed to have docent-led spanish language tours.

The view from the top of the Washington Monument, and the artwork in the Capitol building need no words, although the tours are in English.

Metro also has brochures in spanish.

Last but not least, be sure to get to Adams Morgan, particularly along Columbia Ave near 18th street - where the DC latin community thrives.

take her to the Smithsonian museums. They are free and even if she does not speak English she can still look at the exhibits. Then take her to all of the memorials in town like the Lincoln, Jefferson and Roosevelt memorials, and Arlington Cemetery.

Most of the museums have spanish language recordings these days... All of the smithsonian museums do. And, I seem to recall the spy museum has them as well.
