Well, I was scrambiling around the kitchen looking for the omlette and finally found it. But, they were so small, and hte plate I had was huge and I thought the woman would be very disapointed in the size of hte plate vs. the size of the omelette. I also never brought the man his coffee.

I felt so bad. he was waiting and I never brought it.

My dream book says:
"To dream of setting a table preparatory to a meal, foretells happy unions and prosperous circumstances."

"To see an omelet being served in your dream, warns you of flattery and deceit, which is about to be used against you."

"To dream of dealing in coffee, portends business failures. If selling, sure loss. Buying it, you may with ease retain your credit."

"To dream of a kitchen, denotes you will be forced to meet emergencies which will depress your spirits."

My interpretation is that it was good for you to not have served the omelet, since serving it would have allowed deceitful, flattering people to harm you.

Your dream was telling you that people are trying to impose their wills on you, and that those wills will be against your best interests.

You escaped from that by not serving them. So that's good. Congratulations!

Also by not selling coffee to the man, you also escaped loss and you escaped failure. So congratulations again!

You may suffer from some sadness of spirit, but your dream of escaping from manipulative people and situations which are bad for you, indicates that the sadness will only be temporary.

What an omlette is made of ? Eggs. Which symbolize male sexual organs. The plate you have to serve to the woman is too huge for your eggs ; your dream reveal a fear to disappoint the woman, that is to say the love object.
In addition, there are three person in this scene : your eggs are too small compared to the ones of the man. The love object seems to belong to him and not to you. It reveals the competition for a love object.
I have to know more things about you to understand what the coffee means...

Dreams don't mean anything, they are created by things that triggered thoughts in your mind while you were awake or asleep. They are also based on what you were thinking about. I mean why would your subconcious or whatever you believe gives real meaning to these dreams hide them as odd dreams. It's not like you're going to die or from poisoned food before you can drink your coffee. don't worry, if you do die like that it's coincidence.

the waiter represents a part of you that feels that you are catering to the demands of others instead of you own needs. you also might feel as if you are waiting on somebody hand and foot and not being appreciated for the things you do.

omletttes represents betrayal, deceit and flattery that will be used against you.

plates in someone's dream could mean social advantages and hunger for life.

hope this helps.

your dream doesn't necessarily mean something- you may have been thinking of omelets and coffee before you fell asleep, or maybe you had them that day. You could have also just wanted omelets and coffee, and your mind put together a dream with them in it.
