As long as Bush is in power, he will find some place to go to war with, he is still trying to make his mark on history and outdo his daddy.
Once he is out of power hopefully you will get someone in power that does not have his agenda and will stabilize the country and protect it at the same time.
Bush has tunnel vision and can't see past his goals.
Not that our leaders are any better but you didn't ask about them.

Short answer: No. Long answer: No, the United States military is spread thin. after Desert Storm (Persian Gulf II) the US military was greatly consolidated to be a small, highly mobile military. Now that the United States occupying a very large chunk of Iraq (I believe Germany has the most soldiers in Afghanistan now), there isn't enough manpower to go into another country unless the United States returns to a Cold War style military.
As for US Allies, what are you looking for? Another nation who will assist the United States if a nation declares war? Or nations currently working with the United States in a current conflict, or nations willing to form a new coalition to support the United States moving into another country.
If a nation declares war on the United States, there would be a similar reaction to the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, nearly EVERYONE would help out. The United States would have the majority of Europe (I wouldn't expect San Marino, Leichtenstein, Monacco, or Andorra to send much), the nations around Australia would assist, and plenty of other nations as well.
In the current conflict there is still great Britain, Mongolia, Mascedonia, Romania, Italy(?), Armenia, Hungary, Iceland, Iraq itself, Japan, Georgia, Ukraine, Slovakia, Poland, and plenty of others.
Those who would support the United States going into another nation...well that would all depend on the nation. I'm sure South Korea wouldn't mind unifying the nation, and China is kinda worried about North Korea, along with Japan as well. Iran would not be a popular destination. Lets just let Cuba go (unless they invade Grenada again), and Venesuala(sp?)...that's kinda iffy.

Unless Iran comes to its senses, they are going to have a war with somebody in the next 5 years. They have been building up to it ever since they stormed the US Embassy and paraded its blindfolded personnel thru the streets of Tehran over 25 years ago. Pres. Ima-Dinna-Jacket was there then as one of the student leaders, he is there now. No change in 25 years. His goal is the destruction of the West (that is everything not Muslim).

Call the Oval Office and ask who is next on our list. THat is what I do and I assume most all other Americans. Leave a message and wait for them to call you back with the answer or you can turn one of your local cable news networks and wait and they will eventually tell you after the fact.

After our eventual, protracted and messy withdrawal from Iraq, we just plan to chill for awhile. But some of the guys were kicking around the idea of going back to Grenada. Boy, we showed them!
