Q's asking about explicit sexual activity from someone whose account was created today or yesterday is from someone too young to be asking about it and, citing the nature of some of these Q's, much too immature to even be thinking about doing what they're talking about. It concerns me.

Sex is pleasurable, but it carries potentially serious consequences, like disease or pregnancy, not to mention the potential for some very involved and intense emotional resonses.

If you're out of school, do you agree? If you're in school, how much pressure do you actually feel to do this sort of stuff?

Enjoy being kids. If you want to be grown up, I'll trade you, 'cause while it's not bad, it sure isn't all it's cracked up to be.

I agree 100%. When I was growing up, sex was never a question in my mind, and it saddens me that kids grow up so quickly and are such in a rush to explore the world now especially themselves now a days. Maybe it's the amount of explicitness on television, what you hear on the radio and music, etc, but parents also need to enforce what is and what isn't right for their children. What is age appropriate and what isn't, little things like this does matter, but I see it as a lost cost. Sex is a selling market, and it's just going to keep on going.

I have to agree with you. While I'm still somewhat a child at 19, I'm at least aware of my actions and the consequences they may have. I'm in a commited relationship with someone that I love very much. I haven't even been sexually active for a year, and it surprises me that there are 12 year olds having sex. Kids are in too much of a rush to grow up. I wish I didn't have to worry about things like bills and other financial woes. I would love to play a game of tag and go home to my grandma baking cookies. (in the ideal kid world hah) I think kids need to take a step back and truly enjoy their childhood. They have all the time in the world to explore sexually and should wait until an appropriate age/time to do so.

I totally agree! Sex makes things even more complicated! Why bring on the complication when your young? You have a LOT of time to do all that later in life! There is a lot of pressure for teenagers these days in matters of sexual activity- believe me I have a teenager! She gets stressed out about school reports and who hates who at school. Add in a sexual relationship with a boy and I think she would loose it! I am very lucky to have a daughter that has decided to wait (she is in her senior year). And I constantly praise her for it every chance I can. She gets a lot of grief from kids at school who like to make fun of her about being a virgin, but thats where family values and high self esteem really come into play!

I'm in school, and I pick my friends carefully. I make sure I don't surround myself with people that want to do these "one night stands" or any sexual activity before they really know what they are getting into (preferably married). I've had classes and stuff, and I realize these dangers and realize that it's not worth getting into unless you are with someone who has never had another sexual partner or has no dieseases from it. Great Question.

Yeah I agree, however I really doubt that half the people talking about it just do it, like you said there just kids, kids who are stupid and want attention and would make something stupid up.. at least thats what I think

but seriously I agree with you if they're serious

Im out of school. I agree. Its not pregnancy that's the real killer these days, its herpes and aids. Now they say that you can pass herpes without a breakout...ewww...you'd NEVER know who gave it to you...Now kids have "friends with benefits" you dont have to be his girlfriend to "do him a favor" this is terrible and i feel so nervous for my children. I am just so thankful that I dont have to do the dating scene.

Yeah....I've actually heard that the average age to lose your virginity is 14....thats pathetic! Kids shouldnt even be thinking about things like this!

my view on it is, if you think your old enough to have sex your old enough to deal with the consequences e.g. kids. its harsh but true, i for one do not believe that people can be so naive to believe that sex is not a big deal, it is it can potentially change the rest of your life. so think it takes two to tango but when a young girl gets pregnant most of the time your on your own!

You are SO correct!! Just wish every kid could figure this out at an early age. It'd save them a ton of heartache!
