"lbs" is the abbreviation for "pounds" which is the unit of weight used in the United States (and probably other places).

lbs means pounds. It is a unit of weight, in the English system of weights and measures.
There are about 2.2 pounds in a kilogram. So to change kilograms into pounds multiply the kilos by 2.2
The above conversion is accurate unless you are talking about the weight of a woman.....
If you are foolish enough to talk about the weight of a woman, multiply the kilos by 1.5 and and subtract 5
