You see someone pull up in a very nice car. Which of the following is your first instinct:

1 - Get upset and want to take it away from them?

2 - Become determined to seek an education and work hard to earn enough money to afford a car like that?

3 - Be content with what you have and be happy that they are successful?

4 –Become upset at the person driving the car because they basically stepped over the backs of the less fortunate to acquire it?

For many years I was a struggling single parent. I drove used, used cars; me and my kids wore thrift store clothes, and usually ate "Always Save" brand foods.
Then one day, when I was talking to our companies computer annalist, and I found out that by the next day after our paydays, I normally had more spending money then she did.
So that showed me that people with nice, cars, house etc... may not always mean they live better than me.
So, I'll go with #3.

3. because the other reactions do me no good and it also sends negativity to the person with the nice car. Envy, greed, anger....none of these things bring true happiness even if you acquire nice things. A good heart gains one much fortune.

Probably #3 because I like my car but if not I would realize I would have to work for it (example 2)

None of the above. I really don't care about fancy cars and things like that. I'm pretty low maintenance and happy that way. I value other things in life, like education, spirituality, friendship.

When I see someone with a fancy car, I just think "ok, so that's what they value", and that's about it.

None. I own the nice big car that's more expensive and more comfortable and practical than the wanky little BMW anyway. I'm the guy with the sign saying "Horn broken, watch for finger"
