My sister says she will never date any more guys names starting with the letter A, as 2 guys she has dated were trouble. From now on, i will no longer date any michaels as i have dated 3 almost 4 of them and they all weren't good to me. As shallow as it sounds, do you have any theories?

I didn't think so when I initially read your question, but the more I think about it... The name "Laura" has brought nothing but trouble and sadness. Bad experiences...

In 1989 I went on a date with a woman who seemed in every aspect a decent woman. IE Interested in my work, interests, etc. About 4-5 hours into the date she said to me: I've got a confession to tell you. After this confession I rose from the table, said my good byes and swore that until I make sure that it's truly a woman, I'll never date again! Need I go farther? I found out at that time that doctors can do marvels with plastics and scalpels. I furthermore resigned myself to be sure of the gender BEFORE dating any female. And yes, Oh God yes I slept with my present wife of 16 years BEFORE we were married and met her mother before that. Now before I get all of the eeewwwwwww's out there, let me just say this: If you think that the first letter of a name or even the name itself is enough reason not to date somebody, use your head and think about what else can be hidden (litterally) within another person. My point here is that looks or names are not enough reason not to date potential mates as each human is different. You should be more concerned with the qualities and features that are being hidden from day one.

i think that youre telling yourself the michaels are bad, but really, theyre not. if ur mind believes it, u make it so. try to see a michael as someone else, like a dave or something, and u might get to know one and like him. dont judge peeps by their name.
