Not religious but believe in a God/Goddess/Higher Intelligence.
This is just another prime example to why I reject religion!
Religion was made up by a bunch of men that wanted to form the world the way they thought it should be!
Unfortunately they wanted to do all of those things and in their minds be OK with it because they could "repent" after ward

Some clarification is called for.
To use God's grace as a license to sin is not right. That is a sin.
To commit sin willingly as your example said, there is NO way such a one could even be Christian.
A person may be self-deluded into thinking they are Christian when they are not one, but the scriptures are clear that a follower of God will cease from practicing sin. It does not mean we won't slip- we all do. But we certainly won't be willingly, practicing committing sin.
Unfortunately, many do believe all they have to do is repent by saying a prayer, but God looks at the thoughts and the intents of the heart. No one can fool God.

Please allow me to be VERY CLEAR so you get this, okay?
The Churches have fallen so far away from what the Scriptures teach, that its pathetic.
God only knows what the hell they are teaching, but any Christian had better be checking out what some pastor or priest says, in the Word of God, before listening to it.
This is not God's doing, this is mans doing.
And God says when he returns he plans to visit those pulpits FIRST and not to have sunday service, either. He is going to pull out the center support beam of the building and allow it to crash down on the heads of the stupid idiots who listen to man instead of caring enough to know what God says.
Geez, even Satan "believes" in God. Any sin not repented of the person will be held accountable for, thats true. But Scripture is clear that you can repent all ya want for murder or rape, but you cannot even get God to consider any of your defense until you are executed and sent to him. A murderer goes before God along with the victim(s), who weigh-in quite a bit.
As far as what happens to that person after that meeting with God, we don't know.
God knows the heart, and there is no conning him. He knows if mental illness had
caused the crime; he knows all the details of the case, so he will judge it just fine.
Any person or church who says you can go ahead and do all those things and then just
say "oops, sorry", has a rude awakening coming. Thats like saying you have a free pass to do anything you want, and then just repent of it and all is well. Not so.
Please, do not judge the true Church of Christ and His real people by the Churches of today: they have fallen into a ditch and they are taking alot of people down with them. They will be dealt with in the most
direct ways imaginable.
Remember, too, that the term "Christian"
and the term "religion" can be completely
different critters. "Christian" is way too
generic a term.

The definition of repentance is as follows: Repentance is the feeling and act in which one recognizes and tries to right a wrong, or gain forgiveness from someone that they wronged. In religious contexts it usually refers to repenting for a sin against God. It always includes an admission of guilt, and also includes at least one of: a solemn promise or resolve not to repeat the offense; an attempt to make restitution for the wrong, or in some way to reverse the harmful effects of the wrong where possible.
Hence the essence of repentance is sincere assurance that you will not repeat your sinful act; also, if one sets out to commit these acts knowing they are wrong and yet thinking 'but I'll just repent afterwards' that can in no way be considered true repentance - its not as black and white as how you've claimed in your question anyway.
I am a Muslim and we belive God is the Most Merciful ... at the end of the day, who are we to say whom He will forgive?

See... isn't it dumb? I know people can change their life but to change it in the end because you know that's an "option" in your religion?
Also, I was a Christian for over 20 years. I never REALLY believed that Jesus was the son of god or anything like that. Even as a child. But I still tried to be a Christian because my parents raised me that way. So sometime in my 20s, I gave up being a Christian. I can't make myself believe at all. According to Christians, I'm going to hell for not believing. But I just realized how ridiculous that was... you can't MAKE someone truly believe in something.
I don't believe in Christianity period, nor am I sure of a god but aside from that... even if I did... I would still never 100% completely believe. I just can't. And I would not want to follow a god that sends good atheists and honorable people from other religions, and gay people, and other decent human beings to hell.

There is no sin too great, with the exception of non-belief that will not be forgiven by God. However , there is till the effect of the sin on your soul. For example, if I punch you and give you a black eye, (this being the sin), repented and asked for and received forgiveness, does that mean you would no longer have the black eye (effect or stain of the sin on your soul)? Absolutely not, you would still have the black eye! As for all the sins that you list, if you repent you will be forgiven, although you will have the "effects" or stain on your soul.

Wow...excellent point!
I really never thought of this before, but I suppose it is possible that is the reason the priests are doing that.
I am sure there are a lot of people with this sort of logic. "If I sin today, it will be ok tomorrow because I can always ask for forgiveness later". That is hypocrisy in action IMO. A big reason why I left the church.

Here's the point of all of that. If you commit any sin great or small, you are out of the grace of God. When we do any or all of the above mention things, but at some point turn from those ways, and repent then we are saved and to God it is as though he never did any of those things. We must realize that when God forgives He forgets also, this is a trait that humans don't possess. So I would agree that if you were truly repentant, and changed from your wicked ways, then the person is saved. God Bless.

When the Holy Spirit comes to reside within you - at the point of salvation - believing on the Lord Jesus Christ - turning from yourself and your sin - you will be changed!! Sin will no longer consume you - you will try not to sin on a daily basis (of course we still do but we strive not to) - AND you will be a new creature in Christ Jesus - the old person is dead. You have Heaven as your eternal home and you can have an abundant life here. That is the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. You are forgiven at the time of salvation - you cannot return to your old life - you are new - and you will not want to. I pray you find Truth dear one - the Person Jesus Christ. He is SO good! He died for you and rose again that you might have resurrection one day and eternity with God the Father and Himself. I pray for you to receive Jesus Christ and LIVE!!!!

Belief in the context of salvation in the Bible, is not just an intellectual thing, it involves behaviour as well, since faith without works is dead. Even the devils believe, but their belief does not save them because it is not faith. Those who believe will not do things such as kill or rape. Those who kill and rape show that they do not believe in the sense of having faith and living by it. They believe intellectually, but then so do the devils.
