Well I personally do not feel it is a paradise to be desired. And I can imagine it makes the residents wish they weren't stupid enough to go there in the first place. I personally believe a person would be a whole lot wiser to want to spend life in prison without the possibility of parole than spend eternity in hell. But that is just my personal opinion on this issue. Since the people going there obviously want to spend eternity with all the people that made this life a living hell for them. Take care and may God bless you spiritually.

It is Sheol, Hades, Hell, the common grave for mankind. It is not a place where one roasts and burns forever like false doctrines teach.

MILLIONS of persons have been taught by their religions that hell is a place where people are tormented. According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, “The Roman Catholic Church teaches that hell . . . will last forever; its suffering will have no end.” This Catholic teaching, the encyclopedia goes on to say, “is still held by many conservative Protestant groups.” Hindus, Buddhists and Muhammadans also teach that hell is a place of torment. No wonder that people who have been taught this often say that if hell is such a bad place they do not want to talk about it.

This raises the question: Did Almighty God create such a place of torment?

In all the places where Sheol occurs in the Bible it is never associated with life, activity or torment. Rather, it is often linked with death and inactivity. For example, think about Ecclesiastes 9:10, which reads: “All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol [grave, King James Version; hell, Douay Version], the place to which you are going.” So the answer becomes very clear. Sheol and Hades refer not to a place of torment but to the common grave of mankind. (Psalm 139:8) Good people as well as bad people go to the Bible hell.

Jesus was dead and in his grave for three days. But the Bible reports: “His soul was not left in hell . . . This Jesus hath God raised up.” (Acts 2:31, 32, King James Version) Similarly, by God’s direction Jonah was raised from hell, that is, from what would have been his grave. This happened when the fish vomited him out onto dry land. Yes, people can get out of hell! In fact, the heartwarming promise is that hell (Hades) is to be emptied of all its dead. This can be seen by reading Revelation 20:13, which says: “The sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell [Hades] delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.”—King James Version.

If you want more valid information on what hell actually is, contact an elder from a kingdom hall in your area. They will be glad to research hell with you, but it is NOT a place where one goes to roast and burn forever. That falseness is taught by false religious leaders to scare the masses and much of the time based on greed.

Hell is the common grave for mankind. When we die we go back to our ground and our thoughts do perish. (Psalms 146: 3-6; Ecclesiastes 9:5)

Best to view it as a state of the spirit not a place, because once dead, you could not feel physical pain. Therefor as many think it might be a place where fire burns you, and spikes impale you is just wrong logically, because those represent physical pain. It could be a poison for the mind, every fear would come to life, and all the negative emotions such as fear, rage, depression, sorrow would be felt without any positive ones, until time exists.

The wages of sin is death, not eternal life in hell. Christ was treated as sinners deserve, in order that sinners can be treated as a sinless man deserves to be treated. Christ did not burn in hell forever and ever, but experienced separation from God ("My God, why have you forsaken me") and died.

Total seperation from God. Eternal punishment.

I would say that you have to watch the view all day while sitting next to the super high unreachable cupcake table.

The Bible says it is a place of torment and gnashing of teeth - for eternity. You don't want to go there.
