why do boys only like girls who have a are good looking but are dum...and dont like girls who are very smart...i have many boys after me but its sooo hard because all they want from you is you know what and they dont care about what you feel or think...they dont care if your smart or not.....but like if i met a hot guy and he was dum i wouldnt want anything to do with him but boys are not like that! answer and advise for the future just interested why are boys like that????? help

Well, this must be the people you are dealing with because I look for both not just one. Some men are just looking for sexual partners to satisfy their thirst for sex. To them, sex is the all experience. If I can have sex with as many girls as I can, then I am the man. They live on this philosophy. I of course do not live by this at all. I find a person with common sense and beauty to be attractive. I would want to maintain a conversation with the girl I am having sex with. I don't want the conversation after sex to be dull. Immaturity also plays a factor too. The more a man matures, he begins to understand that sex is not all that is necessary from a woman to be happy. It is a thing that happens to most men. Most of these guys who approach you are just that immature & haven't aged yet. Then again you have 'boys' chasing you not 'men'. Men act completely different than boys do. Start looking for guys who ask questions that make you think. Those men are looking for more than just sex.

Because they are BOYS.
Do two things. First, don't go for the first guy that asks you out. Wait until you find one that you can talk to and that wants to get to know you, not just the color of your underwear.
Second, use spell check, proper capitalization and punctuation. Before you hit the send button, read what you wrote (word for word) not what you think you wrote. If you are as smart as you think and will someday be in college, practice using your intelligence now. You seem to be a thoughtful young woman and have the potential to make a good life for yourself, don't let a stupid guy who's future goal is to sell women's shoes ruin it for you.

Where do you get the silly idea that guys go for dumb girls? Maybe that is because they are interested in you. Obviously, since you cannot spell, punctuate, or capitalize, you are not smart.
In any event, Bill Clinton married Hillary for her brains, not her looks. There are many exceptions, but for the most part intelligent girls are better looking than less intelligent girls.

Immature people go for looks. Mature people look for more than just attractiveness... That's just how life is. I've always been on the mature side, and haven't found a girl my age that is the same.

Don't make generalizations or you'll miss out on exactly what you are looking for.
There are a *LOT* of guys out there who like smart girls whether they are good looking or not. However, they themselves may not be good looking - perhaps YOU are blocking these people out with YOUR standards?

it is funny because all of the girls that I ever dated were super smart straight A students, if you like a guy and he doesn't like you because you are smart you are wasting your time, go look somewhere else

i agree !!! go for a geeky guy but not too geeky he will be more of a relationship not get in ur pants guy trust me i gave up on reli hot guys!!
