Yes, or, rather, it is most logical to lack belief in any god.

There is plenty of evidence that each god people believe in is man-made and ficticious. There is no real evidence that any actual gods exist.

Why is this so hard to understand? 'Atheism' is not a 'belief' in ANYTHING... it is the ABSENSE of 'belief' in invisible, magical, supernatural sky-fairies (dieties).

"Atheism can be considered to be a 'belief', or a 'religion', only in the same sense that one might regard NOT collecting stamps to be a 'hobby'." ~ Unknown

OK... I watched the video. What do I think? I think that this guy is very skilled at spinning out logical fallacies in a beliveable manner... and that people who are not adept at 'critical thinking'... that's about 90%+ of people... would be bamboozled, befuddled or duped by his arguments... arguments that are rife with false dichotomy... strawmen... red herrings. Here's the thing... cleverness is not the same thing as wisdom. I suspect that the entire thing is a lie... I doubt that his talk to Hungarian students and faculty ever occurred.

He was pretty good.

As Mr. Spock might say, it is illogical to dismiss something simply because you can't prove it exists.

We can't prove one-dimensional strings exist, but it is illogical to say because we can't prove them we should deny them.

It is said Tachyons can't exist because Einstein says nothing can travel faster than light. It is illogical to buy into the assumption, just become some man said something.

A closed mind is a bigoted mind. A mind no longer open to potentials and possiblities.

Of course it is - it's all about the lack of evidence to support belief in the InvisibleSkyGuy.

Oh, I watched 3 minutes of the evangelist - not my scene.
Scammers annoy me.

BUT, there's great money to be made from religion IF you can keep a straight face.

[edit]
Someone had to make the absolute statement that 'nothing comes from nothing'.
Yeah mate and that includes the InvisibleSkyGuy of your choice.

Logical Fallacies again.

Does any place teach people how to think logically anymore?

Steve b Seek -- God and "Something from Nothing" form a false dichotomy fallacy. As well as the fact no one claimed something came from nothing so that makes it a strawman as well.

I'm not sure logic should be the criteria we use to always determine what or what not to believe. Many things which are real can not be proven nor are logical. A person tells me they love someone. Where is the proof that love exists? I can't see or touch love, therefore love is not real, but we all realize love is a very powerful force.. There are some things we just know.We feel it in our heart ,not our brain. What determines death? Medically its when the heart stops, not the brain.

yes, being atheist is the only logical choice.

the basic rule of science says everything physical have physical causes, thereby no supernatural gods, souls, spirits etc etc

the bible is written by people as nothing could change the laws of nature and transmit knowledge directly into the writers brains.

No actually it is the most illogical thing to believe in,,but Atheist don't believe right,,so this wouldn't be the right word here.

How can I be 'atheism?'

Joking apart, atheism denotes 'lack of belief.'

How can you believe in lack of belief!?

Atheism is not a 'belief.' It's like asking a bald person if bald is the best belief.

A Creator is the only logical answer.

Basic science rule number one: Nothing comes from nothing.
