It depends. They have to find a vein to do a blood draw and they could possibly blow the vein. A vaccine however can burn depending on what it is however it only goes in the muscle. And it depends on your pain tolerance. My suggestion for a blood draw is to drink lots of water. It's much easier to find a vein on someone who is hydrated.

Take it from someone who is stuck all the time, (I'm in the medical field and they have to give you vaccine and tb test) the pain in minimal and nothing to fear either way.

It depends on if they miss the vein when they are trying to take the blood, so they have to poke you several times, but really they are very similar, some shots can hurt worse because they are injecting medication underneath your skin, but really I think neither are super painful.

Probably the injection because the medication can cause burning at times and be painful. it's over very quickly though. A blood test is just a simple prick and afterwards You feel nothing.
