Is there a reason why most energy drinks tend to taste like cough syrup? I mean, is there a reason why most companies go with the "cherry" flavor?

XS Energy drinks don't taste like "cough syrup" - more like diet soda. You can get them in about eight different flavors - I like tropical and black cherry cola.
If you live in Canada or the United States, you can get them at www.jewel.mychoices.biz

Look at the ingredients on the label, that should answer your question. But now most of those energy drinks are being targeted. Some, but not all are have alcoholic content, along with caffeine.
