Never! And that is being honest. Although I have walked miles instead after drinking - although I am positive I could have safely driven home. I believe that if you drink and drive, the lucky side will be that you will be caught and charged with DUI and get jail or fine. That is the lucky side. The unlucky side will be hitting some poor innocent person coming the other way and killing a child or a parent of a child. Just not worth the risk at any cost.

I made that mistake many many years ago (about 15) and have never done it again. I was punished for what I did - license suspended, attending classes, and fines. What was even worse was the reflection and realization that not only did I endanger myself, but others as well. I am now of the mind that I have a right to put myself in harm's way, but I have no right to make that decision for others. Never again will I drive after drinking. When I choose to drink, either I am not the driver, or I am safely at home.

Never! I grew up in a family that had it's fair share of alchoholics, but my grandfather was killed by a person who was drunk behind the wheel and for whatever reason did no time. Reguardless of what happened to my family I realize that driving drunk or buzzed can destroy someone's family and take away someone who otherwise should have lived a long healthy life. Anyone who does, needs to take a good long look in the mirror.

Never. It's irresponsible and dangerous (in a student community you hear of so many people who died every week because of drunk drivers). Rather get a designated diver or stay over.
