Do you think in his anger and fury at having to pull troops out of Iraq & Afganistan in defeat, that George W will press the button and to hell with it?

Don't be silly!!!

Nobody is going to be stupid enough to pull the troops out at the moment. For right or wrong we started it. We have a duty to stay and finish it. All these people are just playing games with the Media and Voters. Its easy to say these things when you are outside government. They are just trying to win votes. If they ever get elected it will be a different story. Always is.

EDIT - Yes I also smell a liberal - LOL

No, it won't happen. Nukes will not be used in either Afghanistan or Iraq. What would they accomplish? The coalition militarys are trying to stabilize these countries while rooting out the terrorists, and a nuclear weapon would simply cause a horrendous amount of death; the Coalitions are doing everything they can to PREVENT innocent deaths while accomplishing their mission.
So no President Bush will not launch our nuclear arsenal, and hopefully no other president (or world leader, or terrorist) will detonate nuclear weapons in anger....or really even in tests anymore.

Won't happen because George doesn't want radioactive oil and if he can he plans to run a pipeline across Afghanistan.
'Long dong silver' where do you get your information ? Reading the 'Hilly Billy News ?.
The British are fighting and dying in Iraq and Afghanistan where we were dragged into a war thanks to Tony Blair and Bush lies about WMD's

He can't authorise nuclear strikes without the permission of Congress. Even then, he would face HUGE outrage form the rest of the world. Peole woudl be so angry with him ti woudl not be funny. But he wouldn't launch nukes without a very good justification.

I think the generals would prevent it. ihave no confdence in George not to try, but some faith in the sense of the senior military.

Why do so many Americans regard "liberal" as an insult - it means "generous" or "supporting freedom". Its the opposite of miserly or repressive - oh - maybe that's why!

Nothing you fear will happen. Mr. Bush will not pull troops out. Mr. Bush will not launch a nuclear attack. If he did, who would he attack and for what purpose?
I think I smell a liberal.
