Juice? I've done lots of research on this subject and found no juice (to date) that will directly lower your blood sugar. I've found several foods and supplements that will help a type 2's insulin work more effectively, and help lower sugar level, when combined with a rigorous diet, weight management, and exercise routine: http://www.geocities.com/seabulls69/Type_II_Diabetes.html

No, no, no this is going in the wrong direction my dear. Juice drinks of any kind and many vegetable blend drinks make blood sugars soar!! Avoid them all!! Forget it until the sugars and cholesterol are way under control, and then only a sip now and again.

So many other things you can be drinking, this is truly not much to give up.

Regular exercise will have both of those high numbers going downward in a hurry if you do it.

When your sugar is high do not drink juice. Juices enter the blood stream very rapidly and you would only be adding more sugar from the juice to an already high blood sugar. Juices for cholesterol are not a problem except for coconut milk which has a lot of natural fats in it.

Water not juice will bring the sugar level down.
Orange juice is the preferred juice to bring the blood sugar up.

There is no food or drink that will bring down the sugar level nor the cholesterol level.

You need to see a doctor if your sugar level is high. You need to get it in tight control and the cholesterol will take care of itself.

High glucose levels automatically raise LDL cholesterol and lower HDL.

My belief is that chemists set the level of cholesterol saying this is bad, so take my pill. Then they changed the number and doctors believed it. I don't believe any type of chemical compound helps to raise HDL or lower LDL numbers. I also don't believe food plan has much to do with those numbers either.

Firstly, consult your doctor or health professional before making any changes to your diet.

If you plan to have juice, it should definitely be freshly made juice, not bottled, to ensure that you are getting the most nutrients, and are avoiding juice with added sugar or preservatives.

Some studies show that apples, cranberries and blueberries can be beneficial for heart health and for reducing cholesterol. See:

You could blend these up with other fruit and vegetable juices to add more nutrients and improve taste. Avoid fruits that are really high in sugar such as grapes and pineapple, and stick with things like melons.

Choose a juicer that will not harm nutrients by overheating the juice. Here is a good one to try, http://www.topbuys.com.au/oscar-vital-max-900-living-juicer-white-vitalmax900w.aspx .

Finally, if you do juice, make sure you are getting enough fibre in your diet as this is important in lowering cholesterol, see http://www.jr2.ox.ac.uk/bandolier/booth/hliving/Cholfibe.html .

If your sugar level is high don't drink any juice. Juice and fruits are high in sugar and will just make your sugar level go higher. Drink sugar free drinks like water or diet sodas, or sugar free tang. but stay away from milk to it is high in sugar to. hope this helps and check your sugar often and see your doctor.

No juice is going to bring down your glucose level. Even V-8 and other vegetable juices have carbohydrates (some from the veggies, some from added sugar), and carbohydrate raises blood glucose, doesn't lower it. I avoid juices completely, but there are some "Light" varieties out there that are much lower in carbs. Are you getting 20-30 minutes of exercise each day? Just walking would help. That would solve both problems.

Pureed blueberries are good for the condition. Blueberries are very low on the Glycemic Index and contain antioxidents which help the additional problems associated with diabetes. Any processed juice will generally be high in sugar content and may lack the antioxidents found in fresh fruit. There are "light" juice drinks, ie those with lowered sugar content on the market. Again, they are processed and lack the flavinoids and antioxidents contained in fresh fruit.
I have found fresh oranges to help.

Not eating animals fat is one way to stop bad cholesterol to form. Onion does a wonderful job on increasing good blood cholesterol, you can start by trying half raw onion with your salad. When you rise your good cholesterol, you are lowering your bad cholesterol.

Fruit juice is only for when you need to rise your sugar level fast! You don't need any of fruit juice or fruit at all when you are trying to lower it.
