the amount you have to pay will vary and depend on the value of the goods and will not be possible to give you answer. does the £350 include removal of the goods from the container and palletising the price seems a little low for it to include this and yes you will require a customs clearance agent to do this for you and to ensure the paperwork and manifest is in order a min cost will be approx £1000 for this work the time scale is approx on average two to three weeks for all this to be done.
a rough guess on import duties etc and this is a ball park figure value of goods £10000 duties approx 25% £2500 which will have to be paid before the goods are released

georgygirl the size and weight have nothing to do with it at all
did you really want the two points so badly

Customs duties are based upon the goods themselves. There's no way to say without knowing the exact contents of the container. HM Customs can advise on the duty rates.

Choose and ask your local broker who can do customs clearance all other related procedures for you.

Maybe your shipping company can do this for you, consult them and find a right one.

Good Luck!
