In all of nature, there exist male and female. Birds, hawks, hummingbirds, ducks, owls and all aviary life: male and female. Dogs, cats, horses, bears, mice, squirrels, and all mammals: male and female. Fish, sharks, water snakes, lobsters, piranha, gold fish, and all aquatic life: male and female. Over 6,000 species of insects and every single last one of them, male and female. That is right! Flies, bees, ants, ladybugs, spiders, and beetles: All come in both male and female. Plants are also male and female. If a plant has both male and female parts, please notice that they DO have BOTH parts!! In such cases, the plants have organs that are male, and organs that are female. Note this, because it’s important.
Male and female in all of nature means DESIGN. Only the rebellious will fail to see the forest past the trees. This is also spoken of in Romans 1. "Their foolish heart was darkened…professing themselves to be wise, they became fools." Male and female means design.
The design is male and female and in all of nature. The male has a sexual organ to give (+) and the female has a sexual organ to receive (-). That is design. One was designed to fit into the other. In other words, man had a design contrived by a Designer/God. So it is the same with people, animals, etc. It is obvious to all but the rebellious that humans were so fashioned. Some will still argue the point, but I would like to label their rebellion as the cause of their blindness. It’s not wisdom. In other words, people who want to sin must sear their conscience against Christianity. Therefore, they have the knowledge, but do not obey it, and fight against it and against wisdom.
The male organ is built by God to give into the female organ, built for that purpose. To engage in otherwise is an affront to God. Positive is made to repel positive and negative is made to repel negative. This is science. Do you know what magnetism is? How does light work? How do our charged surroundings work? Our very world works on the principle that male and male repel. Female and female repel. Male and female attract. Even the electricity in your house makes mention that the male prong plugs into the female outlet. In all of nature, positive repels positive and negative repels negative, but the opposites attract…except when it comes to homosexuals. Why is this? Rebellion!
Homosexuality is not natural, and it deviates from GOD’S OBVIOUS DESIGN. If the laws of nature started mimicking homosexuality, and positives were attracted to positives, the entire universe would collapse! I’m showing you that male and female is a concept that permeates everything we are, even to the way charged particles operate! It is the Law, established by the all-knowing Lawgiver.
Men having sex with men means positive with positive (male organ to male organ), and where is the organ built to receive? Women having sex with women means negative with negative (female organ with female organ), and where is the organ to give? Do you see this? It doesn’t matter how many degrees a person may have. To deny this simple wisdom that even a child can understand, is rebellion. Rebellion is the root to blindness to God and His obvious principles.
A man with a man is confusion. A woman with a woman is confusion. There is no organ built for it. No children can come of such unions, unless man plays scientist in these matters. No life comes from homosexuality; it is lifeless. It can bring forth no children. It also makes the homosexual lifeless. It is not in line with life-after-death (according to scripture, homosexuals do not go to heaven...it’s a blanket statement). Isn’t it odd, that if two males are together, one inevitably becomes a female: female mannerisms, speech, etc. If two females, one of the two takes on masculine facial features as if on testosterone. Is this, too, a mark of judgment? A better way to look at this is: if you tell God no, you inevitably tell the devil yes.
But I said it before, and I’ll say it again. Never would I ever have spoken out in this fashion had the homosexual activists not gathered troops against the God-made institution of marriage. I do believe in redemption. I also believe in saying it like it is.
Where in nature do you see millions of dogs or cats or fish engaging in homosexuality? You don’t. Gay supporters like to say there are instances of homosexuality in animals but I say, there are anomalies. There may be a confused animal here or there, but show me where millions go gay. They don’t. Wisdom is known of her children.
Some radical homosexuals like to quote "studies" where "scientists" say that 8% of the animal kingdom, across the board, is homosexual. First of all, that is impossible. Forget the 8%, let’s make it 1%. According to one source, in 2001, there were over 60 million feral cats in the USA. One percent of 60 million is 600,000. Do you really believe that there are 600,000 homosexual cats out there? That is comical. Be aware that companies can pay a scientific-research-company to find almost anything in their favor. Another study that proponents of homosexuality like to cite tells how different kinds of livestock often engage in homosexuality. Let me ask you, have you ever had a puppy? Do you know that puppies sometimes "hump" your leg? Why is that? They get confused. So do livestock! These are animals that are in herds and get confused!! But they like to draw on this as proof! I remember years ago there was a study showing that ingesting shrimp caused high cholesterol in people. A couple of years later, the study makers conducted another study and withdrew their original findings. Do you remember the shellfish study, or am I the only one? I remember it because I love shrimp! I remember that very vividly and, as a result, have surmised that many of these studies simply do not produce accurate results. Here is another example: My aunt was told years ago that smoking would help her nerve problem. Did you know that years ago, studies showed cigarette smoking beneficial for nerve problems? And it was shown to be safe. Doctors even promoted cigarette smoking. If you don’t believe me, listen to some old radio shows from the 40's and 50's. Years later, we learned that smoking was the No. 1 killer. Some specialists feel that down the road, they will determine that it is the fermentation process used in treating the tobacco that causes the cancer and not the smoking itself. Who knows!! That’s my point!! Unless you are in full rebellion already, in your heart, you already know right from wrong. A study by scientists cannot dictate your morality. God opposes the wisdom of the wise, as it is written in the scriptures.
As far as homosexuality in nature, you’d have to show me a good percentage, relational to man’s dilemma, in each specie. Show me 750,000 "gay" dogs. Show me a million "gay" cats. With insects, the numbers would have to be astronomical. How about a few million gay beetles? Please, wake up and see that this is foolishness. It’s simple logic of the heart. Argue with a radical homosexual and you’ll plainly see, this really boils down to rebellion. Moral fiber has been etched away from most Americans. I fear that America is headed for a great peril.

Because God in his wisdom said it was wrong in both the Old and the New Testaments.
Much of the old testament law was fulfilled by Jesus who made a new covenant with mankind. That is why there is no prohibition of Christians eating prawns, oysters, lobster, scallops, calamari, etc and we are not required to stone adulterers to death, sacrfice animals in the temple and many other old testament practices. Christians therefore go by what was said in the New Testament, which amongst other things, re-confirmed the 10 Commandments, and confirmed that homosexuality was still a No No.
Because that can be found in both testaments, Jews, Muslims and Christians all accept it is wrong even if we don't fully understand why and can only guess at the reasons.
Procreation could have something to do with it but is not the only reason because there are also issues of lust and adultery that are part of it as well.
For whatever reasons, God's plan seems to call for either marriage between a man and a woman or for you to remain single, so you are not entirely without a choice even though they might not be the choices you would prefer.
The scripture that may have some bearing on the question is Genesis 2:24. “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”
This is the passage that specifies that marriage should be between a man and a woman. Presumably, then, the prerogatives of marriage should only be between a man and a woman. Since sexual relations are only supposed to occur between spouses, this would imply that same-gender sexual relations are in violation of God’s intent and desire.
Obviously a non-sexual relationship with a same sex friend would be a perfectly ok and healthy relationship.
Some people argue that God made homosexuals the way they are, so they can't be "wrong". But if we accept that then we would also have to accept that criminals can't be wrong because God also made them that way.
The ability to resist base impulses and desires is what seperates us from the wild beasts and is essential for the well being of society as a whole.

Sin is “any want of conformity unto or transgression of the law of God” (1Jo_3:4; Rom_4:15), in the inward state and habit of the soul, as well as in the outward conduct of the life, whether by omission or commission (Rom_6:12-17; Rom_7:5-24). Sin is not a mere violation of the law of our constitution, nor of the system of things, but an offense against a personal lawgiver and moral governor who vindicates his law with penalties. Some sins in themselves, and by reason of various aggravations, are more heinous in the sight of God than others (Jn. 19:11; 1 Jn. 5:16).
Since God, speaking through the inspired prophets authoring the books of the bible, declared homosexuality a sin, then it is a sin.
See: Leviticus 18:22; Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9,10; 1 Timothy 1:10.
Thus, homosexuality is just one of a litany of the decay of the perfect moral state found in original creation.
As all sinners, homosexuals can be Christians. All sin is objectionable to God. Since homosexuality is often practiced openly ("in your face"), the reaction by some who have wandered off the “love thy neighbor” reservation is over the top. It may also be the case that anyone that seems to revel in their sin seems defiant or disingenuous, if they are a self-professed Christian. I believe that the true Christian homosexual struggles daily with their sinful nature.

Happiness to Christians is more than the needs of the flesh. Homosexuals must continue to pray for strength to resist their urges and strive to be obedient to the scriptures.

God's laws and God's standards are different then mine. For myself, I wouldn't send a homosexual to hell just because they love someone of the same gender, nor would I let someone like Hitler into heaven if he repented. But God condemns people I would not, and also forgives people I would not. But this does not hinder my faith because I know that God's judgment is supreme, and I cannot overrule him.
Concerning homosexuality, homosexuality is just a small part of sexual immorality. Sexual immorality can include fornication (sex before marriage), adultery, lust, and so on. Sexual immorality is just one of the many sins in the world. Greed. Malice. Drunkenness. On and on.
There are really two issues when it comes to homosexuality in the modern day: how the secular governments treat it, and how the church treats it. Now I know that no government law overrules or usurps God's authority. You cannot go before God and say, "But God, Massachusetts said I can marry my homosexual lover, so it is fine and legal". God is sovereign, and will judge according to his own standards. So the governments of the world can prescribe any law they want, they can say homosexuality is perfectly fine, but it does not change God's law. Personally, I think homosexuals have been persecuted far too much throughout history, so I think the government should not ban or outlaw homosexuality, I think homosexuals should have certain protections from discrimination and I would defend a homosexual with my life if they were attacked, but I do not endorse homosexuality itself. In the same way if someone tried killing a woman who had an abortion, I would defend her, but I would not at all endorse the fact that she had an abortion.
2) What the church does. This is where I am more conservative. I can cite many scriptures in this area, but what the world does is largely not our concern. What happens outside the church is not our business. If the government says homosexuals can marry, it doesn't affect me. But the church must be kept pure. This means that ministers cannot endorse homosexuality, nor should there be any openly homosexual ministers. Ministers are in a very visible position concerning the church, what the ministers do reflects the church, so the ministers should live in accordance with God's law. I can also cite many scriptures that speak on how we cannot use our salvation from sins as a license to commit them. We cannot say, "Jesus died for my sins, so I can be a lesbian" in the same way that I cannot say, "Jesus died for my sins, so I can have sex with any redhead that I see". We can't do that. We have to live according to the Holy Spirit, and according to God's laws. Should homosexuals be allowed into a congregation? Yes. We all struggle with sin and the best place for a sinner to be is in church. However the church cannot change its doctrines to say that homosexuality or lust or drunkeness is "not such a bad thing".
I don't know what God sees wrong with homosexuality - somehow he just sees it as impure. Who am I to question his laws?
Now look, as a Christian, I struggle with lust. Do I say that lust is not such a bad thing though? No. I agree and understand that lust is unrighteous in God's sight. The only question is what I will do: 1) Will I say, "Sorry God, lust is more important to me then you, so see ya later". 2) Do go against all scriptures and say, "I will still freely commit lust, and be a Christian" or 3) Will I at least try to live free from sin, and never use "being a Christian" as an excuse to commit lust.

Aw come on Sophie! I am Bisexual and I know what the Bible says. I bet you've seen those verses a hundred times by now!
It's not about those verses that makes us Christian, it's about us trusting God through Jesus Christ. The Law that says it's not okay to be homosexual shows us that we are sinners, in need of God's grace. That's what it was designed to do. Show us that we are sinners.
But if you are going to try to ignore that part instead of embracing the truth of it, then you will not get very far with the truth.
I embrace the fact that I am a sinner, deserving death. But God gave me life through faith in His Son. Now I can get somewhere with that. I don't have to look down on others like the Fundies do, I don't have to look very far at all to know that I am above no one when it comes to morals and acting 'righteous'. So instead of walking around worried that I might sin, I can move on past the salvation and into the meat of the word.
But please, don't pretend that what you do is not wrong. I mean, if your source is not the Bible, then why call yourself a Christian at all?
Leviticus 18
22 " 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

Some are born homosexual...God is not against homosexuals, however He does not condone an actual homosexual lifestyle. The idea of marriage is from Him, and its pretty clear biblically at least that He has made it for a man and a woman. Listen, I have quite a few gays as friends and I love them dearly, and they are all active in gay relationships. I dont necessarily agree they should be active in it (though I can iamgine how difficult this must be) yet I also know that a sin is a sin. So, practivcing homosexuality is the same as lets say gossiping, right. Yet, He tells us to turn away from our sin. Its not an easy road if youre born gay. I totally sympathize with you and I will pray that you get clarity in this tough issue. Gods peace and blessings to you.

I think most Christians read the story of Sodom and Gomorrah and get out of it that homosexuality and acting upon homosexuality is a sin. However, the story actually discusses homosexual RAPE. I think Christians just have a hard time wrapping their head around something that "isn't natural" and it "isn't natural" because homosexual intercourse can't make babies. I don't think it is a sin. I believe God loves all his children. I believe God is happy with all of his followers regardless of their sexuality. Do I think he is in heaven saying, "Yay! Homosexuality is the best! Woohoo! Be gay!" No, I don't. But hell, if straight people are allowed to marry 20 times then I say let the homosexuals get married. Who gives a rat's ***? It's their "sin," not yours.

Its wrong to Christians because the Bible SAYS its wrong!! Why do you thing Sodom and Gomorrah got destroyed...the Bible says its cause of that!! The Bible also says in Corinthians to not have intercourse with those of the same sex.
Have you noticed God made ONE male and ONE female, like he did with the animals...do you really think that God intended for two females to live together/
If you really were a true born again Christian I think you would read your Bible and look into this more instead of just assuming you'll go to heaven, cause sinners won't make it there, and if you disobey the Bible than you are a sinner.
Sorry, I know this probably sounds way harsh, but I'm just trying to answer your question

I'm glad you asked this question sweetheart. well i guess it is how you look at it, if you believe that you were "born" a lesbian like many homosexuals do, my argument is that we were all born into sin, its just had hard for you to have lust for a woman as it is for a woman to have lust for a man outside of marriage.. it is your weekness. you can't help it. just like some people enjoy steeling, it is their weekness, or some enjoy gossiping or murdering, no sin is more than another they are all the same in Gods eyes. having lust for women is your weekness, you enjoy being with them. fact of the matter is, God made us to be with men. thats why the parts fit we are the opposite of each other, we fit. you just have to pray about it sweetheart. He'll help you through it!!
God bless!!

My sister, I cannot truly answer the why question for you really - only God can. Ask him - God has said "If any of you lacks wisdom, ask God who gives generously without finding fault" - James 1 If you seek his answer honestly and with an open mind he will not refuse to give you wisdom!
But here is what I think - God created us male and female to be a compliment to each other. Men have characteristics that women do not have and women have characteristics that men do not have. Men and women are different and have a tougher time getting along than women and women do or men and men (usually). God meant for us to combine our strengths and learn from each other. That's what I think anyway.
God bless you :)

Compare these two 'abominations':
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. Leviticus 20:13
And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you. Leviticus 11:10-12
I love watching devout christians eating prawns, oysters, lobster, scallops, calamari, etc
