All of the above but to really go green you need a healthy saving account or really good credit and be prepared to go in debt for the next 5 years or so . Going green is a real expensive thing to do even the well to do will not dump that kind of money into a green system but by you going green allows people with SUV,s ,stretch limos , private jets and such to still use there vehicles not to mention heating there mansions with hot tubs swimming pools and what ever toys they have .
Best to start off small like with the light bulbs that's at least one SUV that someone can still drive .

Hate to sound like a broken record but think global, act local. Simple things, bring your own bags when you go shopping, use a bike or train or walk instead of driving, in fact any public transport beats driving, recycle, compost, CONSUME LESS-you really don't need a massive wardrobe full of clothes for every occasion(how often do you find yourself at the goodwill chucking out good clothing that you've hardly worn) and every new gadget for your kitchen or home or whatever, buy local products, not imported, the closer you buy from the source the less transport emissions have been created to get you your product, look for things with the minimum packaging, buy a sturdy water bottle( I bought one 6 months ago, use it every day and haven't needed to buy bottle water in yonks/the construction of those PET water bottles is very toxic). Use the internet to pay bills, consider getting a rain tank/solar power cell attached to your place. Hope some of this helped.

Start by thinking about everything you do during the day and try and think of ways to do them using less, there are literally hundreds of things you can do starting with changing light bulbs to planing ways to use your car less like planing your route to you errands to cover the least amount of miles to going top the supermarket every two weeks rather than every week or making a series of trips just to pick up a couple of things every day or other day. Seal up all leaks in the your home, this is actually easier to do during the winter on a windy day which makes it much easier to find leaks. But the biggest thing to do is just thing about everything you do and try and think of better ways to do it.

You can start right at home. My wife has an all natural home cleaning business and they make their own cleaning products from natural, non-toxic ingredients that are easy to find and really cheap. For instance, they use water, vinegar, baking soda or Borax, liquid soap and tea tree oil as an all-purpose disinfecting spray! It works just as well and totally safe for your family and the environment.
Also, recycling, any way you can. Even if you have to re-use bottles and bags and cardboard in your home.

Starting to a green, clean your backyard and plant vegetables that bear green fruits. Or, re-landscape your garden with bermuda grass and plant ornamental plants with green leaves. For all you know, you help our planet back to its balanced ecology. So, start now, please. I've done it in my home.
