one way to measure is by actions or lack thereof. In Billings M\t. at a cemetary with jewish headstones was vandalized. A converted wife of a Jewish Dr. galvanized a movement where almost everyone in Billings put menorah's in their windows and the movie "Not in My town" was made as a result. It seems really vicious attacks have to happen for anyone in Europe to open their mouths. I guess the Holocaust fell on fertile ground

You've touched a nerve with your very clever question. There are some American people who are anti- Semitic ( in 1930s and 40s they were actually very active under the energetic leadership of Henry Ford ( his famous book about Jews was treated with the same respect as holy Bible ). There are still his very active supporters around well and alive in their efforts of hate.

But Europeans went further in their irrational hate for Jews in 1940s: Holocaust was a crime against humanity and should be never forgotten or repeated. They say in Russia and other little countries, that used to belong to Soviet Union they still have occasional pogroms, even though most Russian Jews are not residing in these God forsaken countries any longer. Europeans hate everyone: their neighbors, their friends and their family members. But as any cowards do, they are united in their hate for Jews. Sorry for my long winded rumblings, but I truly can't positively answer your question one way or another. How does one compares the levels of hate?

Than most Americans, yes. Partly due to the fact that European countries have larger Muslim populations.

Everyone is more anti-Semitic than Americans. Who do you think supports Israel? We are basically the only country on the planet that supports them.

That's what people who have visited Europe tell me. I'd like to find out for sure.
