.Is it possible? Yes. I had a cousin that died of a heart attack at age 13. Though he had a heart condition.
If it really concerns you see a doctor and have him do a test when your heart rate is high. He'll have you do jumping jacks or something to get the rate up. Chances are it's probably normal

It certainly is possible for a 15 year old to have a heart attack. Although this is not very common at all and you probably dont have anything to worry about. What is common, is feeling slight pain in your chest and increased heart rate after excersising. Try looking up heart attack symptoms. There are a whole lot more symptoms than you realise.

Yes it is possible for a 15 year old to have a heart attack.
I suggest that you consult with a fitness expert to form your exercise plan if it is very intense and unusual.
A heart attack is unlikely but possible for a 15-year old. If you strained your chest muscles, you would feel such a pain. Or you could have acid reflux. That would be stomach acid burning your digestive tract.

Heart attacks are very uncommon in people your age, but obviously, something is going on and it's scaring you. You really need to talk to you parents and see your doctor. They can run tests, like putting you on a portable kind of heart monitor (you wear it like a necklace). You wear it for as long as they tell you to (a few days to a couple of weeks). Usually it has a button on it that you push when your heartbeat feels weird to you. It monitors your heartbeat all the time, but pushing the button marks a spot on the record so they know you felt something.
The heartbeat thing seems to be pretty common, 2 of my kids went through a period of it in their teens. Usually it's completely safe, but just feels nasty and in a few months it will stop and never come back, but you need to have a doctor see you soon.

It would be very unusual but not rare. If you've had heart problems in the family, find out what kind, this is important. Find out if you have a heart mummer and what kind. It is possible to have a hole in a heart chamber or a leaky valve. If you think or find out you have heart problems in the family then see you doctor and have a check up, tell him you worries and he cam set you up for a check up, find out the families problems.
I can't believe that RN gave you that advise, she'd better check her text books again, if she is an RN
Don't ever overlook this, it can happen.

I wouldn't say impossible but it's highly unlikely. If it only does it when you exercise, it is not a heart attack. Talk to your doctor and tell him what is happening, because your heart might beat too fast normally, and that needs to be corrected. Best of luck.

yes don't over exert yourself and be sure to eat about half an hour before you exercise or you can get angina pectoris heart disease. i met a little boy in the hospital once with railroad tracks as he called them, lines going ever which way from heart ops since he was 2.

at your age, it is unlikely your problem is related to your heart. It is much more likely due to hormonal surges and anxiety. Your heart is supposed to accelerate when you exercise you know. But if you feel it is beating too fast, it is likely because you don't drink enough water and have dehydrated yourself, so the heart has to beat faster and harder to get what blood you have to the tissues that need it. Suggest you drink at least 2 liters of water a day, and stop worrying so much.

You are over-exerting yourself when you exercise. There are thousands of people that have undiagnosed heart problems that die suddenly while playing sports, so it is a good idea to go to your doctor for a complete check-up before doing any strenuous workouts.

That's not a heart attack, in fact that's actually good for your heart.
But yes it is possible for a teenager to get a heart attack. Very unlikely though.
