I thought putting a bandaid on the situation was all I needed to do. I stopped drinking and thought I was eating the right foods. Well I cheated a little. Pancake here and a corn muffin there, the next thing I knew my sugar level was 290. I'm back on my boring menu. Egg whites and sala for breakfast, salad for lunch, and a regular meal for dinner.

Help me though. I need to snack on something healthy, any suggestions???

meats, cheese, eggs, diet sodas, some candy...

I am diabetic and when I am hungry, but don't want to take a shot, I'll eat like some pepperonis, or bacon, or an egg with a slice of toast (15g of carbohydrates for the bread) or some other kind of meat because it has no carbs and it is protein to keep you full. Diet sodas don't have carbs, but be careful with sugar free things...just because it's sugar free doesn't mean that it is carb free. Just check the nutrition labels. They are a life saver. Talk to a nutritionist and they can give you a long list of low carb (high protein even) or no carb foods. Try a marinated chicken breast and spice it up with your favorites spices. Have some fruit, although there is some natural sugar, it's not a lot, so a little walk around the block or some other easy exercise will keep your blood sugar from going high and don't forget veggies (low carb). Best of luck!!!

This is a bad place to look for that info, if you have diabetes you should be seeing a doctor, a nutrionist, perhaps even an edocrinologist. There are 4 or 5 replies prior to mine and they are all bad advice. Fruits without limits are loaded with carbs. Pancakes and corn muffins are the worst thing as far as carbs go they are loaded. What you eat depends on your medications, meal plan, and physical activity. Even type 1 and type 2 diabetics face different problems, if you don't know the difference between 1 and 2 is another good reason to see an endocrinologist.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

First, know how much you should eat at one time. You probably want between-meal snacks with 15-20 grams of carbohydrate, depending on your weight--but talk to a nutritionist.
Good snacks include: fresh fruit (most of the canned and frozen come with tons of sugar); breads, but not 4 slices at time; granola bars that are not loaded with sugar; a handful (or two) of Cheerios.
Be careful, though. You should be as careful with fat as you are with carbohydrates. Diabetics are vulnerable to heart disease that will kill you faster than high blood sugar.
