Some do and some don't. But there are vegan online retailers where you can find vegan bacobits.
ETA: Frank, imitation crab is made out of a different type of fish, so it is definitely NOT vegetarian.

I wouldn't think so like with imitation crab... I mean, what would the point of that be? they are the same price as real bacon bits. I'm not sure but I wouldn't think so. check the label.

probably. imitation crab has crab in it. god only knows what animal is used in imitation bacon.

depends on the brand.. read those labels... if you read dairy in it or a chemical "casein" that's from animals also.
i hear bacobits is vegan... check that out.
