STDs are a function of having unprotected sex with partners with an STD. You can have unprotected sex with 1000 women and have kids with all of them assuming none have STDs. However, if you are sleeping with multiple partners, you must assume those partners are also. Have protected intercourse until in a monogamous relationship with a person you are sure has no STDs.

Because clearly the women that they have slept with didn't have any STD's. Just because a man gets married, has children, get divorced, gets married a second time, and has kids with his new wife does NOT mean he'll get an STD, he'd need to have contact with somebody who is infected with an STD to become infected with one.

You are not guaranteed to get an STD just because you have sex with more than one person. If you are faithful, and your wife is faithful and neither has an STD there is nowhere for it to come from! Promiscuity itself does not of course produce infection, bacteria, viruses and fungi produce STDs.

Well if they and their first wife did not have STDs and he did not contract STDs from anyone before marrying his second wife, and she also did not have STDs there is no root for STDs to start at.

when you want to have a kid with someone you have to stop using protection but its sensible nowadays to both get tested before stopping the protection. Thats what most sensible people do before decicing to have unprotected sex. As long as one doesnt have an affair then theyre totally safe.

The women he chooses must be free from STD's.
STD infection has nothing to do with the number of people you have sex with, it is to do with having sex with people who are infected.
