Reusing plastic bottles is something you should do at home, instead of purchasing bottled water you can make your own bottled water. Most people do not realize that most bottled water is right out of the tap. With that said in the US alone we use two million plastic bottles an HOUR, this is the same equivalence as one million cars on the road for one year. Use glass, then reuse the glass and recycle the glass (much better for you, the environment and energy use.

I bought a six-pack of bottled water once, drank all the water, and have constantly refilled them with tap water ever since. The water tastes the same, costs far less, and saves the environment. -RKO- 08/21/07
