Hey everyone! Due to a variety of circumstances, I'm trying to quit smoking (So far its been a bit more than a day) but the thing is I only smoked for about three weeks, even less, maybe averaging 2-3 cigarettes a day. I was wondering if anyone would know about any long-term issues I might face because of this? Thanks a lot for any help!

If you only smoked for 3 weeks and 2-3 a day, you haven't done any damage to your body. So quit now, and you should be fine! Good for you to quit before you get really hooked on them!

You are very fortunate if you quit now and do not smoke again and try to stay away from places that are smoke filled, you may be lucky enough to escape getting lung, throat, tongue or other cancers, or other lung diseases like asthma, emphysema, etc. Good Luck to you. I do hope you remain strong. Smoking is not only bad for your health, but for relationships.

if you dont quit for yourself, do it for your love ones

just think this way... your love ones also could be in danger. there were cases where spouses and kids got cancer from passive smoking...
