My new glasses seem to be dirty, but I bought them only two weeks ago. I'm far from the place I have them made so I'm asking u what to do. I have cleaned my glasses following the instructions given so that's not the matter. It's seems like drops of oil on the glass. These glasses are very expensive(free vision + transitions) so help me! Thanks

mix half water and half rubbing alcohol and try wipping them with a lint-free cloth and see if that works. . . . .i use that mixture for my glasses. . . . .if it doesnt work take the glasses to your optician

You might be able to stop by a local optician and have somebody look at them (even though they didn't sell them to you, they might be able to say whether they are ruined or not). They might have an ultrasonic cleaner, or know a way to clean them without damage.

It might help if you remember what you were doing that grubbed them up; was it spray paint, hair spray, splatter from solvents/chemicals, mist from Chinese stir-fry etc?

It sounds like one of your coatings are failing. Antireflective, or scratch resistance. Take them back immediately so they can fix them while still under the Lab Warranty. This doesn't happen often but it does happen. The sooner you take them back the less trouble they can give you on replacing them.

Since you already cleaned them using the instructions, your best bet is probably to return them, mate.

it could be water marks... if water gets on lenses and isnt cleaned off quickly, it can leave lasting marks. take them back to the doctor, maybe they can replace them for you.
