What about the paper..do they take any type of paper?

It depends on the recycling center. The ones in my area take newspaper and regular typing/stationery paper. They don't like glossy/slick/magazine or photography paper.

They usually like the glass/plastic/paper to be separated.

A really good reason to recycle is that recyclables cost the local government less per ton than plain old garbage, and that means lower taxes.

They take bottles, plastic, and glass, white paper, aluminuim can.
to make sure the product you are taking is okay to recycle you can look on it and find the symbol .

I know one thing they dont take,thats the new light bulbs Al Gore wants us to use. They have Mercury, and thats toxic. If they break in the house it could cause you to be sick. Call your local center and ask where they can be disposed. Not many places take them.
