Of course.

It's estimated 75 - 80% of the world has cold sores (oral herpes) and about 25% of the world has genital herpes.

There are MILLIONS of people who have genital herpes and were able to have perfectly healthy beautiful babies.

Having herpes has nothing to do with a persons ability to reproduce.

Having genital herpes alone does not affect a woman's ability to become pregnant. What is extremely important however are the risks associated with having an outbreak during childbirth. If you are pregnant or planning a family it's vital to make sure your doctor is aware that you have genital herpes.

My exwife and I have lived with Herpes for over 24 years we have three children all born vaginally. We were up front with the doctor. Luckily my wife never had a break out when she was delivering if she did the DR told us he would do a Cesarean but it never happened. I have 3 healthy children. Remember there are some great drugs on the market to reduce flare ups...use them!! Personally I have not had a flare up in over 2 years and when I do it's usually because..I hate to admit it....Jacking off too much!! if I stroke it too much It irritates the skin and I get a break out..what a great way to keep you from JO ing too much!!!

Yes, you can get pregnant with herpes. They are like cold sores on your genitals. Herpes I and Herpes II are the two different types. One is Genital warts, one is cold sores. You can spread herpes at any time though even if you're not having an outbreak. There's also the risk you run of passing it onto your offspring.

Yes, but you may not be able to deliver vaginally since herpes can cause blindness in infants & why would anyone want to risk spreading it to their newborn anyway?
