well, i wouldn't consider 58 a low pulse rate, especially if you are an athlete or exercise a lot. As long as you don't have symptoms such as dizziness or fainting, then I wouldn't worry about the pulse rate. If it gets below 50, then I think you should probably see your physician.

A pulse rate of 58 is relatively normal, especially if it is taken at rest ( when you have been in a relaxed state) If you check your blood pressure and pulse before getting out of bed and starting your day, then 58 is normal. People who are physically active tend to have lower pulse rates. Are you on a medication for blood pressure control?? If so, then that can lower your pulse rate as well. As long as you aren't not experiencing any dizziness/ lightheadedness, faint-like symptoms, then the heart rate of 58 is normal. I hope that this helps.

Thats a good resting pressure but anything below 60 is considered bradycardia...meaning slow heart rate. Mine was running at 50 by evenings and I stayed tired a lot. The cardiologist said if it drops in the 40s and stays there then call to come in. I have systolic hypertension and mine runs low most times as does the diastolic pressure......the top number or systolic can run in the 140s to 170s...one time even up to 212. so be glad yours seems ok

The normal heart rate range for adults and teens over 14 is given as 60-100 by one source, so your rate of 58 is just at the low end of normal. Just keep track of it over several months, and if it drops and stays significantly below 60, then talk to your doctor about it.

58 is a good pulse rate. 58 is a good resting pulse rate
it means that your heart is pumping slowly. I'd be concerned if it was 80. 58 is great.
my bp is normally around 115/60 with a pulse rate of 56-60

That number is your diastolic pressure. Systolic blood pressure refers to the pressure of blood in the artery when the heart contracts. It is the top (and higher) number in a blood pressure reading. Diastolic blood pressure refers to the pressure of blood in the artery when the heart relaxes between beats. It is the bottom (and lower) number in a blood pressure reading.
P.S. Take your blood pressure in the morning, that will be the most accurate (before you've done any physical activity). Keep monitoring it throughout the day to see how your pressure varies.
