Yes, it is possible to prevent HIV without using a condom.

No method is 100% safe (condoms are 98% effective when used correctly), but there are other things you can do to reduce risk.

First off, if you have unprotected sex with an HIV positve person, it is not guaranteed that the virus will be transmitted. The chart on this website shows the odds of infection based on different types of sex:
http://www.poz.com/articles/396_2286.shtml
Read it carefully, it's kind of tricky to follow.

Also, HIV is transmitted through four fluids: blood, semen, vaginal secretions, and breast milk. So, if you can reduce your contact with these fluids you are also reducing your risk.

Here are a few methods:
Pull out (withdraw the penis before ejaculation)
Use lubricant (reduces friction, reduces likelihood of abrasions)
Practice "outercourse" (non penetrative sex - like frottage)
Make sure no other STDs are present (an infection on/around the genitals is an open door for HIV to enter the body)

It is true that abstinence will keep you 100% safe, but abstinence isn't a realistic option for most people. So, just try to minimize the exchange of fluids. This will keep you safer.

Abstain. And unless you are tested at the same time and trust your partner 100% then as long as you are precautioned then go ahead. Personally I wouldnt though because you can't trust every man. I would just stick to condoms(or try the thin kind)....wear the damn jacket(it'll be a lot better than having a nasty sore on your "ding ding" in the long run)

Yes,on special condition.America CDC(central disease control and prevention) issues a guideline to prevent of people who had been exposure to known person of aid(or hiv positive) become infected. This guideline are within 72 hours of exposure take 3 type of anti virus drugs for 28 days.these drugs will suppress the virus spread and will abort the infection. But this method are not for general use for prevention for hiv infections.many researcher which including DR.Robert M grvent of university of California,DR My ron Cohen of north Carolina medicine public health school already try to use drugs to the highly dangerous grope such as people involve to prostitution(which including of legal prostitution in some country) and found some promising result but not 100% safe. Most promising drug which including tenofovir deroproxl fumarate(TDF) and some others.I belive that one day drugs and vacination will be the best methom for control this illness.

I beleive the answer you were looking for is NO, if the other person has HIV, it only takes one time, for you to have it. Wear a condom and get tested all the time, and try to find one person in your life to be with otherwise you'll be worried all the time.
