My heart rate is 32 beats per minute right now, before it was only 27 bpm. What should I do?

That is about half of what it should be.The first thing I would do is ask someone else to check it for you. Your technique might be wrong.

Even very-fit athletes who have trained themselves to be able to move a good volume of blood at a lower heartbeat don't get down that low.

First of all...do you feel dizzy? Feel like your going to throw up? Or faint? Are you blue, tired, or cold and clammy?
No? well, then, don't worry about it.
Heart rates are relative. Worry if you feel sick, or you have an underlying condition.
If your active, feel fine, and are usually healthy, relax.
For one thing, some people just have lower heart rates.
For another, that rate may not be your normal one, you may have a dip in rate when you're resting, or relaxed or whatever, or your rate my drop for no reason.
As long as you don't FEEL like your sick, you're probably not.
HOWEVER,
if you DO, definately get it checked out ASAP. If very very rarely a serious issue. In fact, low heart rates are not the problem, it's the low blood pressure that comes with it thats the biggest issue (which is also why people pass out.)

Your age also has something to do with it. The younger and healthier you are, the lower your pulse may be normally.

I myself have a resting rate of 30 and a b/p of 80/40. But that's normal and I have no ill effects.

Bottom line: Relax. You're not going to die. I promise, but it's always worth getting checked out, especially if it makes you nervous

Bottom line, if this has not been "normal" for you in the past, you should seek medical treatment immediately. I see that you are top contributor to diet and fitness. Most people even the most well trained athletes do have a low heart rate, but usually not this low. Again, bottom line, if this is not your "normal", seek medical treatment. Also, are you having any symptoms with this such as dizziness, nausea, or feeling faint?

It is always better to be safe. If you do not feel comfortable and this is not the "normal" for you, seek medical attention immediately. There are many things that can cause a low heart rate, such as certain medications, infections, heat exhaustion, hypothyroidism, etc. Not saying any of the above is your problems, but you should still seek medical attention.

Best wishes to you.

"Average [resting] heart rate is faster in females (72-80 beats/min) and gradually declines throughout life...persistent bradycardia in poorly conditioned people may result in grossly inadequate blood circulation to body tissues, and bradycadia is often a warning of brain edema after head trauma." That's a low heart rate, you need to get off your computer and see a doctor, your sedimentary lifestyle is killing you
