Im trying to be a vegetarian and have been trying \many different types of food. i realised i hateeee tofu and i cant stand immitation meat and most veggie burgers. Also, most recipies i found have spanish or latin influence. Which does not appeal to me. Ive grown up on italian and american foods. Its not that i wont try new food it just seems like i do not like most of it. so does anyone have any good recipies?

Try making spaghetti with Prego sauce (make sure it's vegetarian). You said you hate imitation meats, but there is a realllllyy good fake Italian sausage (by Tofurkey) and you can't even really taste the difference. Also try making lasagna with 2 of the Tofurkey Italian sausages. I made it with my sister last week and it is delicious! Just layer whole wheat lasagna noodles on the bottom of a lasagna dish and top it with ricotta cheese with the cut up sausage. Then put on another layer of noodles and then a marinara sauce, then another layer of noodles, then mozzarella cheese.

just get an italian cookbook, and omit all meat..
my hubby and his family are italian, and eat a lot of meat... i can eat some, but i have digestion problems. so when i make the same recipes i just skip the meat. and put a few extra veggies in..
guess what no- one complains, in fact they ask me what i did and what ingredients i used....
if you can eat pasta and dairy then you have literally hundreds of italian recipe options..

Saying you don't like tofu is like saying you don't like cake flour. It's flavorless. You just haven't had it prepared correctly.

It's also limiting when you don't like analogues, as veggie sausage or meatballs make good dishes.

The best I can suggest is to either crumble tempeh into marinara sauces, or to saute or roast veggies with pasta.

I assume you eat dairy, so you do have a lot of Italian options.
