Meet them half way: have champagne and berries with a fritatta. It's kind of an Italian take on a fry up. Just saute whatever filling you like, add beaten eggs to bind, cover with cheese, and slide under the broiler to finish it. Lots of good ideas out there, I recommend the Moosewood cookbooks for some great ideas. One that is one of my faves is one onion, one red bell pepper, one yellow pepper, and a huge handful of minced Italian parsley. Saute until onion caramelizes, then use shredded Asiago on the top to finish. VERY yummy, indeed.

Fry-up with free range egg, bread, tomatoes, Quorn bangers and veggie bacon slices.
I haven't had a fry-up for years, literally, and now I'm hungry for one. Thank you for that. Not!!
