I'm a member at an indoor rock climbing centre, and have passed their proficiency test.

I'm applying for uni this year and want something to show for my climbing habit!

How do you get involved in competitions and earn qualifications?

Your local gym should have access to information about competitions. If not check some sites on the internet like www.rockclimbing.com There is a lot of good info and a lot of competitions. Good luck.

I compete in an organization called USA Climbing and have placed in the top 10 many times. It's really fun! Also, There is an organization called American Bouldering Series. I compete in both. Check them out at www.usaclimbing.org

I don't know.

My advice is forget that noise, and get out on some real rock and/or ice. You've spent enough time in the gym! lol.

And unless you're going to school for outdoor rec, I don't think being a climber will help you get accepted.

Your have to put swords sticking up under you while you climb, pools of hungry crocks too. Grease the aparatus. Do it blindfolded ur upside down. That's next level.
