I have 20 + people coming to my house today for a barbecue/party but it looks like it may rain all day.
Any ideas on how not to let the rain spoil the day?

go to ur local home base or b and q and get a cheap gazebo put it up over your barby and the rain will not ruin your day i do it all the time

You never know - it might stop raining later. In the mean time work out how you can cook all the food inside. You need a good plan to get through it all. Stick to this plan whether it rains or not. If it does become nice outside, you can carry the food outside for your guests to eat it there.

I've sometimes moved my grill into the open edge of my garage when it's been raining. Just let the people eat inside the house or set up tables in the garage.

Have you got a gazebo?
If you have to have it indoors then you can still cook the food that you might already have bought for it either in the grill/oven or if you have a george foreman grill.
Make sure you have plenty of booze and music going and they won't even notice that the sun's not shining!

Open up the garge door, makes a great shelter.I f you have not got a gas bbq not dont make too much flames.
Let folks eat indoors.

cook all the food in the grill or oven and have a running buffet, and enjoy the company indoors out doors does it matter its the people that count.

A tent or cook outdoors, with an umbrella and eat inside.

i have a picture of my husband standing in the rain holding a kiddie inflatable pool over his head.. while the rest of us were inside...lol...
he was determined to have bbq that day....lol

throw up a nice sized tent and smoke some cigars and drink whiskey all day long!!
