Do you pee less on metformin?

ihave cut out sugar and other carb foods and uped protein. I heard on the atkins diet you shouldn'tbe on if your on a dirurectic, but I'm not that strictly protein. Anyway I drink the same and pee alot less. Wondering why?

You might pee less on metformin because your blood sugar is lower so you drink less. But if you're drinking the same amount, that water has to go somewhere! You're either peeing it or sweating it. Metformin can't change that.
