That is really not a good idea with diabetes as the alcohol can destabilise blood sugar.
If it's just the taste you like, then try alchohol free wine.
At the very least, dilute the wine with (at least 1/2 and 1/2) soda water to make a spritzer.
If you think you have a problem with alchohol -and this has to be YOU, not your family, who decides- then see your doctor urgently. You are drinking enough to seriously affect your health; whether you have diabetes or not. Doctors can access all kinds of services and find one that you will feel comfortable with, from councilling to full-on detox/rehab.
Meanwhile, try having one glass or less, at any rate.
All the best!

Quit buying and drinking the stuff. Two glasses isn't an awful lot but if you really crave it before long you will want more. My personal opinion (if it matters) is that there is no more disgusting drunk than a wino. Of course if you want to be a disgusting drunk, that is your choice. You can also go to AA if you feel that is the way to go, again your choice.

What? Two glasses a day is very very healthy. No problems. If you are diabetic, just go for a wine that is less sweet and make adjustments for it. But if you think you are alcoholic on 2 glasses of wine a day, don't worry about it. Now if it was 2 bottles.. that would be different.

Two glasses of wine a day are just fine.
Remember that alcohol LOWERS blood sugar so always eat when you drink and test your sugar often.
Good luck

Find a different thing to do at the time you would normally have wine. Something that will occupy you and your mind and changes your habit...probably something physical like exercise or some other stress reducer.

You can become an alcoholic with wine and beer, it doesn't have to be hard liquor. Go to AA for help or see your physician. Dependency on this stuff is dangerous.

Two drinks a day is considered drinking in moderation.
I guess the question is, how do you feel if you don't have it? If you feel anxious, or it affects your mood then it's a problem.
