If you have already had the A1C test with the fasting blood sugar test then the doc will put you on a diet and exercise regime for up to a couple of months then you'll be re-tested. If it's still high they may put you on medication. With type 2 it will not go away by diet and exercise but can be controlled, so you may not need medication.

Ha I went through this whole process just last week only my blood sugar was 760 (really dangerous)
They will want to do some bloodwork and test you for keytones (you just have to pee in a cup)
My results showed that I have diabetes. Typically you do have diabetes if your blood sugar is over 240 or so.
Ok if you have type 2 it can simply be reversed by exercise and weight loss. I that dosn't work they may give you pills. They only give insulin if all else fails.
I you get shaky eat 15 grams of carbs (5 lifesavers works) and wait 15 minutes.... I you are still shaky take 15 more grams. keep going until you feel beter!
Email me if you need some help I have type 1

They will probably have you take a blood test (at a lab) - fasting blood test. This is called an HbA1C (Hemoglobin A1C). This will show your blood sugar (in a percentage form) that shows your sugar levels for the past 3 months.
BTW - eating a LOT of sugar, if you are not a diabetic - would NOT raise your blood sugar to 350. That is WAY too high.
If you DO have diabetes, make sure your doc has you see a diabetes educator and a nutritionist so that you can learn how to manage your diabetes.
You WILL have to learn (at the diabetes classes) how to monitor yourself and you can carry glucose tablets or even cake frosting(!) if your blood sugar goes too low.
Medication? Depends on your doc. He/she may try diet and exercise first, depending on your HbA1C. There are a lot of options out there - don't be afraid of any of them!
Good luck to you!

Where you fasting for 12hr before going to the lab? Is there any family history of Diabetes ? If yes, for both of these questions then there is a good possibility that you are at risk of being type 2 diabetes. You have to see a doctor. He will probably give you advise on the diet, a glucose meter and will ask you to check the blood lipids (cholesterol). If your sugar level doesn't comedown with diet alone then he may put you on pills.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Eating sugar snacks or fruits does not cause Diabetes at all. If sugar alone caused Diabetes then 99.9% of th eworld's population would have Diabetes. Also if sugar's so bad then why does a diabetic person need something sweet such as a regular soda or candy to prevent them from going into a diabetic coma?

Don't do anything on your own. Only your Doctor can help you figure out whats happening by running tests. It takes quite a while to establish what the issue is. Don't jump to conclusions until more testing is done. In the meantime if your diet is messed up then try to get control of what your eating and drinking.

you are diabetic peroid. it has nothing to do with what you ate. it just showed that you are. it made no difference if you ate the right foods before test. yes that is very high. i am not sure if they will give you shots or pills. it is never sure of anythng when starting out. you can diet and lost very fast just start cutting down and dont' eat too much friedn or startch. they will get you started and yes you will get all that stuff to being with you wil lneed it. take care its not that bad i nearly flipped out to but i got over it. just taking care iswhat is needed. and once you get on diet and stuff you'll be feeling much better to.

They are going to send you to a scecial doc that deals with stuff like that. You may have to take insilen shots, but on thing you will have to do it check your blood sugar before and after meals, also you will go on a special diet. After awhile things will become ruteen, and wont be so overwhelming.
