Emily I'll swap birthdays with you. I'm in Australia so its the middle of winter! I'd love to have a Nov birthday!

I'm turning 25 also soon... We're going to be a quarter-century, lol.... We're definitely getting old...
I never really gave it much thought, but I was trying to think of something to do myself. Might as well go old in style, right???
Luckily for you, your birthdays in summer... Do you have a pool?? Maybe you can have a nice BBQ/Pool party of sorts. Just invite close family/friends, since it is last minute, but with summer coming to an end quick, I can't think of a better way to spend my time outdoors... Unfortunately, my birthdays not until nov. so i cant have a pool party, always been jealous of you summer birthday people....
Or maybe go to the beach or something..... Then night entertainment shouldn't be that hard.... Plenty of bars and stuff, or maybe go out for a movie or something
Or better yet, re-live your childhood and have an old-fashioned sleepover, that would be a lot of fun... Rent a few dvds, splurge on all the ice cream you want, sleep with teddy bears, lol....

I'm not going to be of much help, but you said you wanted to do something different. Why don't you and your closest friend go to a spa for the day? Go out later, looking totally refreshed and glamorous! ( Just a note: I can't get my head around that it is winter where you are. You just have cold weather..right?)

I like the previous posters idea, go with a buddy to a salon, get manicures and pedicures, facials, get your hair done, get some spa treatments, then go buy a nice outfit and get all glammed up! go out to a kareoke bar or something and just have fun!

first of all, happy birthday. on my 25 birthday i had close friends and planed a secret flight. you pay about $100 each and they put you in a plane and send you to a destination for the day. and return you back. if your in australia, check out quantas or jet star. have fun
